A Six-year Old’s View of the World
A six-year old has a simplistic view of his world. He opens his lunchbox and there is a sandwich, an apple or an orange, and bag of chips. How they all got there and what it takes to do it are a complete mystery to him. The December holiday season that includes a series of religion-based events brings presents from Santa, Kris Kringle, or some other provider of toys and clothes for little children. Rarely does such a child ever stop and wonder whether it is true or not. He may even cling to the fiction in preference to observable facts when the story begins to unravel.
